The state park wasnt quite what I thought, It was better. I wanted hiking trails, and I got Birding trails and a beautiful park. It was freezing, but so worth it.

Hooded Merganser in a hoodie

First find of the frigid morning at the Hells Gate State Park, were the hooded mergansers. Never seen this one before, so good find. The pictures are only ok.

Morning Mourning Doves

This morning I was outside my motel room and the two Mourning Doves came to visit. And when one left, The other followed and they came back together again. How romantic :) Great way to start a day.

In which Alice has a play date.

On tuesday Alice had a playdate with a MOMS club mom and her son. We has a wonderful time and here is the only Pic I have.

Today I took a little vacation... to Lewiston, Id. For no reason more than I have never been here :)

I am staying in this Mom n Pop Motel with a sixties theme. Pictures to come.
